I think Coach Byrd has done a great job building Belmont into a Mid-major power. From NAIA to Div 1A and competitive is not an easy task, and he has done it with hard work and good people. I think that the other coaches should be thankful that such a class program has come into the conference. At the same time, they should take heed that the Bruins will not take long to challenge for the conference regular season and tourney titles. Bring your A games boys, it just got rough in the OVC!
